The All Progressives Congress candidate, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu(SAN), has solicited for peace amongst the electorate.

Akeredolu stated this after casting his vote at Okejebu Ward 5,Unit 6.

The APC governorship candidate, who arrived the polling unit at about 10:30am together with his wife, Becky, noted that there might be provocation but said it must be shunned to allow peace and the will of the generality to prevail.

“My advice to the electorate is that, let us be calm in the face of any provocation especially in the last couple of days.

“Some may want to cause confusion because we are coasting home,” he said.

He urged them to go back home after casting their votes so that there would not be too much crowd at the polling units.

According to him, there are few complaints from Idanre, Ode Aye in Idanre and Okitipupa Local Government Areas of the state as regards malfunctioning of the card readers’ machine and molestation from opponents, which he said had been communicated to those in charge.
